Salvador Dalí is a painter most known for his surrealist works, (famously The Persistence of Memory perhaps better known as The Melting Clocks) and his eccentric personal style and demeanor (that 45 degree angle mustache and his quote "Dalí does not take drugs. Dalí is drugs."). Filmmaker Sara Driver brings together the familiar documentary materials to create a portrait of Basquiat that may seem simple, but is as nuanced and meaningful as his works themselves are.
